Adam Yeager is a 5'11", 155 lb. shortstop from Huntington, West Virginia, with 6.89 sixty speed and good body life. In the infield he showed some arm strength with 77 mph velocity. Adam has room to improve his fielding technique. He tends to receive the ball too far under his body and showed average footwork. With his quickness and athleticism, he should be able to make that simple adjustment. Adam is a left handed hitter with average bat speed and an open stance. He hits from a no load approach with little lower body help, and is better on balls on the inside half of the plate. He is a contact hitter that should hit for a good average. Adam had some good quality at bats in the games. He is athletic and an excellent student.
