Derrick Pitts is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.82 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, fluid stroke with looseness to hands and good bat speed, turns barrel well, stays committed to the big part of the field, projects for high-end power as he continues maturing physically, strong hitting tools. Primary outfielder, easy movement patterns with clear athleticism, quick gather with balance and fluidity, clocked up to 91 mph on throws back to the infield, projects to any of the three OF spots long-term. Very good student, committed to Cincinnati.
