Luciano Lahoz is a 2024 RHP/ with a 6-1 135 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter (Doral, FL). Taller frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and works to the plate with tall and fall actions. Tends to land on a slightly closed position with front side generating some crossfire at release. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball came out of hand cleanly creating some natural run to arm side in the low 70's, topped at 73 mph. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with solid spin and occasional depth. Created more depth with breaking ball when maintaining arm speed through extension. Primarily looked to attach hitters down in the bottom quadrants of the zone with both offerings.
