Jack Burns is a 2024 RHP with a 6-4 160 lb. frame from Ball Ground, GA who attends Creekview. Long and lean young pitcher's build with lots of room to get stronger. Multi-part delivery with a high leg lift over the rubber, stays on line well, long arm action in back leading to a high 3/4's arm slot, arm tends to be late coming through at times, gets into his lower half well coming down the mound. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, gets lots of arm side running life. Change up was his best secondary pitch this outing, flashes some fading action at times. Short slider with some horizontal action acts like a cutter off his fastball. 7.79 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, moves to the ball well, fields to the side, makes accurate throws with a full clean arm circle. Right handed hitter at the plate with a busy hand load, rotational upper body swing. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
