Cale Ewing is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth. Ran a 6.90 second sixty-yard dash time. Left-handed hitting, primary outfielder with an average frame, developing strength, and noticeable athleticism. Controlled actions with clean gather to exchange in the outfield with feel for the glove and an arm that produced on-line result with carry at 80-mph. On the mound, delivery had simplicity which allowed clean arm action to stay on time through release, masking his repertoire well from an over-top slot. Fastball at 79-mph with some arm-side run at times. Curveball at 69-mph with developing feel and depth. Square stance setup with a linear bat path at the plate. Swing featured noticeable bat speed, twitch, and hand-eye coordination. Sound rhythm and timing led to barreled contact to the gaps, with a pull-side approach. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
