Sean Campbell is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Brookfield, IL who attends Riverside Brookfield Twp. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.11 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch; quick leg lift up to belt, utilizes a shorter arm stroke through the back side and works to a three-quarters slot which is repeated well pitch-to-pitch. Commanded to either side of the plate with fastball, topped out at 84 mph with sinking life, effort at release but filled zone. Spun curveball well and landed for strikes up to 71 mph, mixes it well and shows late biting action to it. Similar arm slot/path in the dirt, can lower release when needed, will continue to refine actions but moves well going up the middle, extra step moving into release. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread base and a bent knee base; high hand set and medium back elbow at start. Utilizes a leg lift trigger moving into stride, gets the barrel to the ball and shows comfort working to the middle of the field. Worked on a line and shows quickness through the zone, tends to cut off swing at the point of contact, can get additional extension out front. Very good student.
