Jackson Stettnisch is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 187 lb. frame from Grain Valley, MO, who attends Blue Springs South. A medium frame with some strength showing within his frame. A frame that still projects to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fields one-handed off the front foot with good carry on his throws. Throws jumped out of the hand with a quick arm action. Uber firm throws that were clocked at 95 mph from the outfield. Choppy steps working into it but carries his momentum through release. A right-handed hitter with even feet and slightly closed setup. Had higher hands with a low back elbow. Closes us slightly as he loads. The hands get deep and work through the zone with quickness and bat speed. He gets on plane and lets the barrel travel through the zone with a rotational swing. Good turns and was peppering the back of the cage in the air during his round of BP swings. Produced an 88 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher working out of the stretch only. Had pretty big arm speed working out of a belt-high leg lift. Drives down the slope with good use of the back leg. Pitches from a three-quarters arm slot. He located on both sides of the plate. His fastball was up to 88 mph and worked the mid- to upper-80s during his outing, spinning up to 2,242 RPMs. The pitch was a bit heavier at times. Paired it with a 70 mph slider with good vertical tilt and some late biting action at 70 mph with spin up to 2,184 RPMs. Had a 78 mph changeup that he killed spin on down to 1,817 RPMs with a developing feel to throw the pitch with some fade. Great student. Named to 2023 National Indoor (Saturday) Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
