Ross Rea is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Rea works from a bigger athletic build with strength proportioned throughout. As a primary RHP, sequenced a three pitch mix effectively with the FB up to 79 mph. Controlled the operation well and located to both sides of the plate for outs. Was able to manipulate shape/size on breaker for both vertical and horizontal tilt in the 1900 rpm range. Released from a lower 3/4 slot with natural movement on pitches. From the OF, displayed smooth actions overall with whip to the arm action and clean release up to 81 mph. Again looked fundamentally sound at 1B with accurate throws across the diamond and reliable glove work. Offensively, the righty started from a wider slightly open base with clear strength in the hands. He created impact to both gaps with carry, posting an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 6.98 sixty yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
