Jaden Thomson is a 2022 1B/LHP with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Folsom, CA who attends Placer. Extra tall with a wide frame and a lot of current strength to the build. Ran a 7.97 in the sixty yard dash. A primary first baseman, looks the ball in deep and works low. Moves around the base very well with good good footwork and very good arm strength to the bases. A left-handed hitter, wider start with the base and in line using a toe tap trigger with a quiet hand load and turns the barrel to get on plane early. Aggressive with the barrel with a gap to gap approach and very good power potential. A secondary pitcher, smooth delivery with big actions that should cause deception. Full arm circle and a high 3/4 release. The fastball has arm side life and his changeup has similar movement with a good velocity split. The curveball has sweeping action and best when extended. The changeup should be a real weapon. Very good student.
