Jayvon Morris is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Cocoa, FL who attends Merritt Island Christian School. Primary shortstop with a lean and athletic frame. Moved with athleticism in the infield, showing clean actions. Plenty of bounce and medium length arm action with arm speed. Soft hands and threw across the diamond up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base. Takes an inward toe tap to initiate swing. Inside and direct path to the ball. Quality bat speed through the zone and athleticism evident to swing. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to core level. Fastball up to 80 mph and arm works with good extension. Mixed in a curveball and showed a changeup for strikes. Great student. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
