Jake Knight is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Alabaster, AL who attends Thompson. Large frame with big present physicality. Ran a 7.97 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full windup and maintains a good line to the plate in working down the mound; generates good run to the arm side on the fastball working up to 76 mph in this look while showing a solid breaking ball with good depth for strikes and a changeup as a third pitch. Also worked out at first base, clean receiving the ball on the ground, turns well into his release and shows clean throws across. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide and loads deep on the back side, works level through the zone with some length to the swing and shows some strength when squared but is developing his ability to get to the barrel consistently.
