Ashton Westphall is a 2022 2B/RHP, 3B, IF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Bettendorf. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.49 seconds. Hits from wide-spread, severely squatted stance, rocks back into load and rocks forward into stride, hands take more inside path at times but has quickness and strength to them, showed ability to drive the ball on a line. Worked out in the infield, hands and glove actions stand out, moves well to both sides, solid ability to throw accurately from multiple slots, clocked up to 78 mph. Also pitched, high three quarters slot release with solid arm speed, fastball worked 75-78 mph with good life, flashed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Good student.
