Christopher Lara is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Boston, MA who attends Boston Community Leadership Academy. Large frame with a physical build. Ran a 7.54 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, has aggressive actions working low to the ball, has good balance throughout and rounds the ball well with quick feet and solid glove work; funnels the ball well and shows a good arm across clocked up to 84 mph. Also pitches, has an athletic delivery with and short quick arm action generating some cut to the fastball and showing comfortability with the breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open using a long and strong swing to get the ball in the air; shows good bat speed through the zone and a consistent feel for the barrel while working to all parts of the field with fluidity and good extension through impact.
