2023 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Frankie Boyle is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-10 188 lb. frame from Winder, GA who attends Winder-Barrow. Medium frame with strong build, well-proportioned strength throughout the frame. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, covers ground to both sides with some bounce to the actions, tight arm action to a three quarter slot and showed the ability to change the slot well. Hands work out front well, accurate throws across were recorded up to 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, even base with good balance in the stance, knee lift trigger stride gets the swing started, flashed the ability to get the barrel extended in the middle of the round. Strong, linear path through the zone, has some pop when in rhythm. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from a full delivery, side steps to a belt high lift, medium arm circle in the back to a high three-quarter slot, commanded the fastball to both sides of the plate and showed a full mix. Fastball got up to 78 mph (2067 RPM) with some life out of the hand, mixed in a bigger shaped curveball, up to 64 mph (1872 RPM) and showed a changeup with fading action, up to 67 mph (1525 RPM). Also worked out in the outfield, charges in hard to grounders, quick footwork getting working through the ball, short arm action to a high three-quarters slot, ball comes out of the hand well with solid arm strength. Recorded throws up to 79 mph. Excellent student.
