Brandon Arsenault is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Leominster, MA who attends Leominster. 6.74-second runner during the 60-yard dash. Young, long, lean frame with strength remaining to be add throughout build. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch. Simple drop and drive lower half mechanics, comes from a high 3/4 arm slot working up to 81 mph. Paired fastball with 12-6 shaped curveball, keeping hitters off balance landing both pitches for strikes. Pounded the zone, working both sides of the plate throughout outing. Secondary first baseman, some athleticism throughout fielding actions. Deep fielding funnel with accurate throws to bases, up to 73 mph from first. Right-handed hitter, even stance with a high back elbow. Showed some feel for the barrel with compact hands. Sprayed ball throughout field, getting mistimed occasionally. Excellent student.
