Ryan Morgan is a 2027 C/RHP/1B/3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Veterans Memorial. Slender, medium sized build. Ran a 7.96 in the sixty. Primary catcher who popped a 1.90 time and is quick out of the crouch. Gains ground well and produced on-line throws. Repeats action well. Infielder who moves east for his size and has a longer arm action getting on top of throws. Accurate throws and sound process. First baseman who fielded to the middle of his stance well and moved around the bag with ease. Changed slot on the move and has a strong arm. Right-handed pitcher, windup start and over the top release and gets on top of his pitches well. Showed well with runners on and can really turn over his changeup. Left0handed hitter with big power to the pull side. Leverages hard from an open stance and creates a ton of backspin, carry to build upon. Very good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
