Tyler Jackson is a 2025 RHP/2B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Lees Summit North. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Works from a full wind up with a high leg raise over the rubber, has a loose arm and should and throws from a high 3/4's arm slot that creates good angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, fastball got some ride up in the zone and some running life down in the zone. Did a good job throwing his cruveball for strikes with some downer depth and getting off barrels. Flashed a change up late to pick up a strikeout. Works with good pace and tempo and challenges hitters, just needs to get stronger to take the next step. 7.65 runner in the sixty. Played infield when not on the mound, has good fundamentals and makes the routine plays, fielded the ball cleanly with a good funnel and made accurate throws with a quick release. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with an upper body rotational swing, level swing path and makes contact to all fields, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength.
