2025 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2028 Grads)
Kingston Jones is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope. Slender young build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, showed good footwork to the back hand, rounds the ball well and moves well laterally, quick feet, throws from a lower 3/4's arm slot and tends to sink his throws, best playing on the move, skills play up in the games. Right handed hitter, sets up with a deep high hand load, tends to cast his hands to the ball, has some hand quickness and barrel control, bat speed will come with additional strength. Also pitched, has a segmented delivery with a long stride down the mound, compact 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, also threw a soft slider and change up.
