Ty Drinkard is a 2022 OF/LHP, C, 1B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Bay Minette, AL who attends Baldwin County HS. Recorded a 7.78 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with lots of room for additional strength. Primary outfielder with short, sure steps to the ball. Short arm stroke and fields out in front. Arm strength currently recorded up to 75 mph. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a full, longer swing path. Wide base and remains balanced, inside hand path to contact, wraps the barel to start and creates some bat speed. Downhill swing plane and can create well-struck contact to the pull side. Creates some strength off the barrel and power will continue to improve with additional physicality. Good student.
