Tanner Marsh is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Mondovi, WI who attends Mondovi. Medium, athletic frame with strength proportioned throughout frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, positions well behind the ball and works through the ball with an up-tempo pace, employs a big crow hop moving into release, shows nice arm strength at present with accuracy and carry to the intended base. Also pitched, small side step moving into a leg lift just up past belt, lands on line coming down the mound, shows a longer arm action with extended out front while working from a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, attacked hitters and flashed life to arm side. Comfort spinning his curveball in the low-70s with 1-7 shape, sweeping finish through the zone and can locate to the hitter's back foot well. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a tall and open stance, simple mechanics in the box and shows a natural feel for the barrel. Shifts well moving into contact, remains direct to the ball and shows strength in his hands to impact the ball to all fields. Very good student.
