Jack Haynes is a 2022 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Easton, MA who attends Xaverian Brothers. Recorded a 7.13 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic looking frame with some lean muscle throughout and room to fill out. Primary outfielder with athletic actions throughout the fielding process; displays quick, active footwork to field off his front foot properly, gathering cleanly into a well-maintained crow-hop through release. Uses longer, full arm action to throw, while recording online, accurate throws with carry up to 86 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher; full windup delivery with small side-step rocker into a high leg lift and medium stride out to foot strike. Strike thrower with good command to both sides of the plate, some life to his fastball and the ability to generate weak contact.Mixed in 11-5 shaped curveball that flashes potential for swing-and-miss offering as he continues to refine its spin traits and throw with more conviction. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and a hover trigger. Incorporates slight weight shift into contact, while displaying a quick through the zone barrel plane. Mostly middle-of-the field impact with some occasional lift to the left-centerfield gap. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional usage of his lower half. Fundamentally sound defender with some upside on the mound as he learns to use his lower half more efficiently. Excellent Student.
