Tanner Jackson is a 2023 RHP/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Round Rock. Posted a 7.20 in the 60 yard dash. Primary RHP, he showed good athleticism and pitchability on the mound with arm strength and ability to spin the secondary well. Solid pieces displayed on the mound to project on with added command. He topped the fastball out at 85, the curveball/slider mix is well developed showing two different planes with bite and can create some depth on the changeup when he uses it. In the outfield and infield, the athletic upside is versatile with plenty of field awareness to be effective. The arm transfers well across the field with above average strength and carry alongside smooth actions and mobility. RIght-handed hitter, open base with good sync and control. Longer barrel crossing the zone but the swing plays well with some impact when he connects clean. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
