Ethan Humphreys is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 150 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Steinbrenner. Extra-large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, side step at start of delivery moving into a high leg lift, coils at top of delivery; compact arm circle through the back and works to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, stays short at release and filled the strike zone. Mixed curveball with comfort, shows 11-5 shape with short depth up to 60 mph and can pitch backwards effectively. Moves through the ball well off the bag at first base, fields it to the side, turns well, shows accuracy on throws, will continue to refine actions. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright and even stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Best contact when working on a linear path through the zone, utilizes a contact oriented approach, opens front side early at times but creates contact to all parts of the field.
