Jesse Magana is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Chaparral. Slender frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, works at a quick tempo, loads onto his back side well and showed great athleticism. The fastball sat 76-81 mph with good arm side run. Threw a lot of strikes and generated a lot of swings and misses. Worked in a slider with tilt and flashed a change up. Also worked out in the outfield, has a short compact arm circle with a quick transfer and release. Was able to clock up to 84 mph on throws. Great student.
