Peyton Burton is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Phenix City, AL who attends Phenix City Central HS. Tall and lanky frame with extremely long limbs and a ton of room to fill. Body projects nicely. Primary righthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Long and loose arm stroke and works well through release. Low effort delivery with an elongated arm circle through the back. Extended low three-quarters release. Pitches exclusively out of the stretch. Fastball has a lot of sink and arm side run and topped out at 81 mph. Good tempo and attacks hitters head on. Pitches to contact and allows his defense to work. Knows how to pitch and flashed a quality slider in the low-70s. Ground ball pitcher and will get a lot of weak ground outs. Good student.
