Christian Lanzillo is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Plantation, FL who attends Western. Medium athletic frame with remaining room to fill. Ran a 7.35 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with good range to either side, confident with actions, sure-handed with a good glove, loose arm and shows feel to adjust slot when needed. Also pitched, works a two-pitch mix that shows a clean release creating cut to the fastball and dropping in a 12 to 6 breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow, small leg lift trigger for timing, gets downhill at times but turns the barrel over and can generate line drives to the pull side.
