Dylon Mallett is a 2020 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Moore, OK who attends Moore HS. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to continue to add physically. Ran a 7.23 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary middle infielder. Gets around the ball and works through it. Fields out front with a clean funnel to the body. Smoothness to footwork through a quick transfer. Developing arm strength across with accurate throws topping out at 79 miles per hour. Also worked out from the outfield. Athletic close to the baseball with smooth strides. Strong glove actions fielding the ball. Compact arm action with some strength in throws topping out at 81 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open and upright stance. Utilizes a short trigger for timing. Flat path through the zone with some linear actions. Gets under the ball some creating backspin. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a medium leg lift. Lands in line down the mound creating some drive off the back leg. Longer arm circle showing some quickness to action into a high three-quarter slot. Creates plane on the fastball working the lower quadrant topping out at 81 miles per hour. Late biting action on the curveball with an 11-to-5 shape. Very good student as well.
