Andrew Babb is a 2007 left handed pitcher from Ashland, Massachusetts who attends Ashland High School who has a 5'10" 180 pound frame. He has a very athletic body with good strength. Andrew throws from a 3/4 arm slot and gets lots of movement on his pitches. He is a max effort type guy who might benefit from smoothing out his mechanics. He gets good rotation on his 12/6 curveball that he throws at 65 mph. He keeps his fastball down in the zone and pitches at 75-80 mph with his change up at 67 mph. At the plate, Babb hits with an open stance and has a very level swing. He is a contact hitter who sprays the ball to all fields.
