Aidan Shoumake is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-5 186 lb. frame from Orlinda, TN who attends Aaron Academy. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projectability remaining. Works exclusively from the stretch with tall and fall mechanics to the plate, can get more lower half drive to the plate, long and fluid arm action with a 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, more there there with strength and lower half adjustments, has some ride up and running life down. Threw a sweeping slider as his breaking ball with some depth and spin. Turned over a mid-70's change up well. Lots of upside on the mound. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Showed good athleticism at first base on defense with solid footwork and glove actions. Left handed hitter, sets up in an open stance with a hand drop load, slightly uphill swing plane with some connectivity in his swing, flashed gap to gap jump when everything came together. Very good student. Named to the PG Nashville Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
