Steven Barbagiovanni is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ who attends Cherokee. Works from a lean high-waisted frame with some physical upside. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball with choppy footwork and finishes a bit uphill. Separates into a shorter arm path and releases from a higher slot. Delivered accurate throws with some carry on them, recorded arm strength up to 78 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery and stays balanced over the rubber. Breaks into a shorter arm path and releases the ball from a three-quarters slot. Fastball was located well and topped out at 72 mph, pitched to contact with it. Mixed in an upper-60s changeup and curveball with some depth to disrupt hitters’ timing. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider crouched stance with low and tight hands. Works into a consistent line drive stroke that can work all parts of the field. Displayed some present quickness in the hips and hands. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 7.56 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
