Kalib Colon is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Fellsmere, FL who attends Sebastian River. Ran a 7.31 second 60 yard dash. A primary righthanded pitcher, starts with a small side step and leg lift just past the belt, has some drop and drive actions coming down the mound while maintaining a good line to the plate with extension out front, shows a short compact arm action with arm speed working to an over the top slot, fastball sat 79-84 mph getting on hitters as he does a nice job hiding it in the arm stroke, worked up in the zone with effectiveness getting swings and misses. In the outfield, fields the ball with two hands out front bending at the waist, showing a full arm action. In the infield, hands work firm out front, showed confidence with the back hand, loose whippy arm action with a lower release point. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a wide base and high hands, swings with intent and showed strength in the swing with an 86 mph exit velocity, bat path is linear with more power to come when the weight transfers off the back side.
