Kevin Anderson is a 2023 MIF with a 5-7 128 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Bishop Mcnamara. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows quickness to feet moving towards his backhand, picks the ball well out front and shows a quick transfer out of glove, some bend at waist receiving with a clean funnel, repeats actions, arm strength will continue to improve, accurate across and balanced on the charge. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing at the plate. Upper body dominant swing and can incorporate additional weight shift through lower half, long swing path through the zone. Shows comfort working to his pull side and gets extended out front, developing bat speed, occasionally opens front side early. Good student.
