Micah McGavran is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe West. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread start with a short leg raise timer, has big strength in his swing with some natural lift, will be early with his front side and get too long and rotational at times, best contact is when he stays directional and drives the ball to the middle of the field, strong enough to dominate a baseball when things come together. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a spread start, has good footwork in his transition and into his throws, long arm action but has plenty of arm strength, makes accurate throws due to his footwork and athleticism. Also played some third base and looked good there and showed his athleticism well. Interesting young player, especially if the power continues to play. Good student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
