Mitchell Evans is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Greenwood, IN who attends Center Grove HS. Recorded a 6.97 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with room for additional strength. Primary outfielder who moves through the ball well and has very good accuracy. Arm strength recorded up to 82 mph with some carry. Glove plays nicely and has clean transfers from the funnel. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a quick, short arm stroke. Short stride toward the plate with a soft breaking ball that can be thrown for strikes. Works to both sides of the plate and projects well on the mound. Righthanded hitter with an upright wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Leg lift trigger with a pull side approach and has some power to that side of the field. Could see to simplify mechanics but projects well moving forward. Good student.
