Bobby Haarde is a 2022 OF/C, 1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Sudbury, MA who attends Lincoln-Sudbury Regional. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, longer arm stroke through the back, works around the bag with throws, uphill at times at release but showed carry when working on top. Lower set behind the plate, gains short ground coming out of crouch, quick release and repeats actions, carry to second base on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Longer swing path through the zone, occasionally gets out front early with weight shift. Swings with intent and looks to impact at contact, mostly linear through zone with occasional lift. Good student.
