Jacob Budzik is a 2022 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Stallings, NC who attends Sun Valley. Smaller athletic build with some compact strength and very good body life. Very good runner, 6.65 in the sixty. Has active feet and very athletic actions in the middle infield on defense, compact arm action with good carry on his throws, aggressive to the ball, athleticism stands out on defense. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, wrapped barrel load with plenty of hand quickness and creates barrel whip, good present bat speed with more to come, drove the ball hard in games with extra base power. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery, repeats it well and pounds the strike zone. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with good running life. Primary fastball pitcher, flashed a slider and change up. Excellent student. Named to the Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
