Andrew Alise is a 2020 3B/1B, 2B with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Ithaca, NY who attends Ithaca Senior. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength throughout. Primary third baseman with smooth paced footwork while working to the baseball. Showed developing feel for angles while working to the baseball to each side. Funnels out front and worked through exchange efficiently. Loose arm circle and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws generated on like carry to the bag topping at 85 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and large leg lift trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Compact, direct hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Swung with intent showing present bat speed and strength at contact. Primarily looked to drive the baseball with authority to the middle of the field between the gaps. Good student.
