Adam Ahlgren is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Riverfalls, WI who attends Stillwater. Compact frame with an athletic build and broad shoulders. Ran a 7.85 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a small rocker step delivery to start into a waist high leg lift. Maintains direction down the mound with drive off the backside. Small arm circle in the back into a high three-quarters release. Fastball is straight topping out at 78 miles per hour. Still developing feel for a 1-to-7 curveball. Also worked out as a secondary outfielder. Deliberate close to the ball while fielding out front. Short arm action with a quick release. Has some soft carry coming in topping out at 78 miles per hour. Lefthanded hitter with a crouched stance to start. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing. Has some barrel speed through a flat plane. Works all areas of the field. Good student as well.
