Khalil Walker is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-10 163 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Mansfield Timberview. Showed some good speed and athleticism, running a 6.86 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder that has a young frame with room to fill out and add strength. Has a really athletic approach to the ball, carrying momentum to and through the fielding action. Has an excellent first step read and recognition, positioning well and making throws with good carry and accuracy to bases at 77 miles per hour. Has developing arm strength, and throws from a natural three-quarter slot. Secondary first baseman with smooth and easy glove actions and footwork. Comes off the bag well and shows the ability to throw with accuracy from multiple slots. Has an open stance with high hand set and back elbow from the left side of the plate. Arm heavy swing with some present bat speed, and shows the ability to square up balls with a pull side to middle of the field approach. Good student.
