Victor Wilburn is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Boone, NC who attends Watauga. Slender high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple load and consistent timer, polished swing approach with a fluid swing and loose hands at contact, has some hidden strength and the ball comes off the barrel much harder than his size would indicate, pull to mid field contact with some carry. 6.86 runner in the sixty. Has a clean arm action in the outfield with developing left handed arm strength, moves athletically through the ball with good glove work out front and a quick release on his throws. Also took a turn on the mound, big side step/leg lift delivery that leaves him off direction, loose arm with a 3/4's arm slot, fastball topped out at 74 mph. Has really improved over the last year and a half athletically and with his swing. Good student.
