Garvey Person is a 2024 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Slender frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary outfielder, came to the ball well, fielded it out in front with a big crow hop and quick transition. Still working on accuracy but will develop as he gets older. Also worked out in the infield, was clocked up to 80 mph on throws across, still developing infield actions. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 72-78 mph with arm side run, paired with a slider that sat 68 mph. At the plate, switch hitter, hits best from the right side.Hits from an upright open stance with a longer hand path generating line drives up the middle.
