Cal Sullivan is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Ely, IA who attends Prairie. Recorded a 7.27 second sixty yard dash time. Big and stocky frame. Primary catcher, starts with a low and side straddle set, gains ground with some quickness to the feet. Flexible and lower half, strong and explosive. Releases from the ear, with accurate throws. Secondary third baseman, good hands and can definitely play third base. Keeps ball in front well with good positioning. Clean round. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even stance with even hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Tight turns with bat speed and strength present. Lots of pop when he gets the barrel to it. Has some carry to the opposite field. Exciting player with big power to both gaps. Excellent student. Kirkwood CC commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
