Alex Zhao is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends American Heritage. Recorded a 7.23 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium frame. Showed good feel to actions in the infield along with clean gloveowork with some snatch to the hands. Uses compact arm action and had enough hard from the hole. Switch-hitter and begins from a wide base with even feet and a high back elboe from the left side. Utilizes a short left-handed stroke and used the pull side while creating separation. Similar set up from the right side and uses a hovering leg lift trigger. Swung the bat with intent on a level path through the zone and impact coming off. Recorded a 90 mph exit velocity. Tremendous student.
