William Childs is a 2025 3B/RHP, C, 1B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Hammonton, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Medium current frame with strong build and a lot of projection. Primary 1B, showing good first step and understanding of angles for plays. Glove work is out front and accurate making plays. Multi-slot throws with solid accuracy up to 68 mph across field. Secondary RHP, using full windup ending up on 1B side of rubber. Starts hands high and drops to belt for rhythm and reaches solid posture over rubber. Medium arm path inline to an over the top angle. Gets a bit rotational but when in line locates well. FB up to 72 mph with low spin and SL/CH combo for off speed. Both are emerging pitches with upper-60's velocity. RHH working from an even base with lower hand set and small leg lift tap. Flatter plane to the ball, showing compact hand speed and staying through the middle of the field. Solid projection here and should develop gap power with additional strength gains. Elite performer in the classroom.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
