Gianlucas Rivera is a 2024 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends National Baseball Academy. Strong and physical build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.83 seconds. A primary OF, his best throw from the OF was clocked at 82 mph and he did a nice job of getting momentum behind his throws. Also worked out at the 1B position where his top throw was also 82 mph. At the plate he hits out of a slightly open stance with a high hands setup. Showed solid bat speed through the zone and utilizes the lower half throughout the swing. As a pitcher he threw from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm circle. His FB topped out at 76 mph and showed running action. Also featured a CH in his arsenal that topped out at 67 mph. Good student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
