2023 Miami Prospect Showcase
Alejandro Rosales is a 2025 SS/IF/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends John A. Ferguson. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has actions and tools best suited to third base, arm strength is his best defensive tool, can continue to work on his lower half agility and quickness. Also played the outfield and had solid actions there to go with arm strength, was aggressive to the ball with nice glove position fielding the ball, had a short compact arm action and got rid of the ball quickly. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a loose and fluid swing and turns hard on the ball, creates good bat speed with some lift out front, projects well with the bat with plenty of room to get stronger. Bat and arm are his tools. Excellent student.
