Zachary Aranda is a 2021 2B/RHP, SS with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Jack Britt. Recorded a 7.49 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, compact frame with additional room to add strength. Primary infielder with good lower half athleticism, clean glove actions and the ability to range well laterally. Displayed arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a developing feel for pitching. Simple delivery with drop and drive lower half mechanics. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of his outing from a slightly segmented three-quarters arm slot. Flashed slower 11-5 curveball with loose spin traits and gradual depth as his secondary offering. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Incorporates short, direct swing path with slight steepness to its plane to deliver occasional impact to the middle and pull-side of the field. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills with strength in his hands through contact and present bat speed. Excellent Student.
