Benjamin Cogdell is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Brook. Works from the stretch on the mound with a fairly fast paced delivery, compact arm action in back that hides the ball well and creates some deception, has good loose extension out front. Mid-70's fastball, works down in the zone consistently with his fastball and gets some sink and run to it, tries to work the corners and stay out of the middle of the plate. Sweeping curveball flashes some depth and keeps hitters off balance well. Can be successful working ahead in the count and mixing his pitches. 7.72 runner.
