Joshua Galvin is a 2023 SS/3B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Silver Spring, MD who attends Paint Branch. Medium and skinny frame with some athleticism and plenty of room to fill. Ran a 7.54 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves to the baseball well with athletic actions, fields the baseball out in front funneling it cleanly, hands are playable, gains ground into his release with some additional footwork used, low effort release with developing arm strength topping out at 70 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a even stance and a high hand set at the plate, takes a short stride into contact utilizing his lower half properly into his swing getting a nice shift from his lower half, longer swing path with some rotational actions, some carry off of the barrel with looseness to his path, tools to work with at the plate. Great student.
