JJ Howe is a 2024 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bonaire, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Nice athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 6.72 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, throws from a lower arm slot with some arm strength but big tail on his throws, developing his footwork into his transfer and throws. Also worked out at first base. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a busy load and timer, has fast hands and can barrel up the ball hard when he's on time, level swing path and can create some back spin, showed his power to left center field. Also pitched, works from a big side step delivery with a high leg raise, lots of check points in his delivery, gets some lower half drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, tended to slow his arm on a soft downer curveball. Good student, verbal commitment to LaGrange College. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
